ABOUT THE TRIP
The science department is delighted to have been given the opportunity to take a group of 12-16 pupils to spend a week studying Marine Biology and Ecology with the Central Caribbean Marine Institution (CCMI).
This trip is a unique experience and one that has not been offered in any other UK school. Pupils who wish to dive but who do not yet have a PADI open water certificate can attend a course through the College which currently costs £800. The Little Cayman Research Centre have assured me that snorkelers will not miss out on any of the marine experience!
We are planning to spend a day touring Grand Cayman on our way to Little Cayman, visiting:
Royal Botanical Gardens
The Crystal Caves
Bioluminescence boat trip
The 7 mile Beach
